Port-au-Prince – December 19th
Twenty-nine choir members of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation & Fondation St Luc “Voices of Haiti” project arrived at the Miami airport with their wonderful smiles and their backpacks ready to take part in two important moments alongside founder Maestro Andrea Bocelli and the ABF: the inauguration ceremony of the MSC Seaside cruise ship and to work with the University of Miami Frost School of Music in a new 2018 project. They are full of emotion, and you can recognize it from how they look around with curiosity wondering which things their eyes will discover next. On the airplane from Haiti all of the passengers fell in love with the children. At the Miami arrival gate a Haitian woman approached the choir to welcome them and to congratulate them for their performance with Pope Francis last August that she saw on TV.  The young choir members of “Voices” are already little ambassadors of their Country, ambassadors of hope and beauty. Their voices have the strengh to overcome barriers of distance and culture.  And this new journey has just begun for them, and for all of us!
