The city of Florence honors the great genius of director Franco Zeffirelli, realizing the International Center for Performing Arts that will be named after him. A ‘museum school’ that will be inaugurated right by the sixty ‘Voices of Haiti’, together with Andrea Bocelli – who, on several occasions, has collaborated with the very well known Florentine Maestro – and along with the Oscar-winner composer Nicola Piovani.
The Andrea Bocelli Foundation expresses among its values – since its constitution – the conviction that art, in all her expressions, is the most effective form of communication, capable of breaking down barriers of time, space and culture. It is therefore a great honor to receive the invitation by Maestro Zeffirelli to be next to him, for this new important project that crowns seventy years of international career.
